
Welcome to week 6 of your chakra series. This week it’s all about you and your Third Eye.
How was Throat Chakra week for you? What things did you try? Like? Find worked best for you?
For me, I gravitated towards using essential oils, singing/humming/chanting, drinking peppermint or spearmint teas, and really allowing my expression to come through with some various creative projects I’m in the process of doing.
Throat chakra work was EXTREMELY vital to me and my healing journey. I use to suffer from CHRONIC sore throats years ago, had a lot of trauma around my expression/speaking my truth from several past lifetimes, and really felt unsafe to share my thoughts/teachings/ideas. I healed my throat chakra by doing various things my intuition led me to and it was so helpful in connecting the to my womb space for creation and being able to manifest it through my throat chakra (expression).
This is WHY I find teaching and helping others understand the healing power of chakra work so foundational to ones journey. It’s not some airy, fairy idea….it’s not so “basic” practice that is not needed if you’ve been on your path for years, and it’s not some invaluable chit chat that isn’t important to fully embody. Chakra work is foundational to innerstanding energy, energy work, and your own energy.
So, now let’s keep it rolling with some Third Eye Chakra info…..

Third Eye Chakra
This chakra honors the psychic. This is the area of "Spiritual Awakenings" and where our psychic abilities come to life. The Third Eye is the center of intuition and foresight. The function of this chakra is driven by the principle of openness and imagination.
The third eye is the center where we transcend duality and realize our connection of ONENESS. We no longer see others are separate, but as an extension of who we are. Together, connected, and one.
Location:
Center between brows
What it governs:
Intuition, thoughts, dreams, connection to higher self, creativity, connection to more than the eye can see, and deep beyond the 3D wisdom.
Organ(s) it is associated with: Pineal and Pituitary Glands
Associated Sign: LIFE
Color of Heart:
INDIGO (blueish purple)
Signs of Imbalance or Block on PHYSICAL side:
Chronic headaches or migraines
Depression
Hormonal Imbalances/Issues
Vision Issues (not talking about glasses/contacts)

Not aware of their surroundings and cannot see possibility in their life or in anything around them. (disconnected from infinite possibilities. does not fully believe it's possible)

Tools to help BALANCE this Chakra:
1. Earthing:
Bare feet to the Earth. 20-min a day/minimum. Earth is the BEST grounding source. Fills us up with her energy while allowing us to release and dump extra/un-serving energy. Yes, I know…I saw Earthing EVERY week….BUT, the Earth’s healing properties are MAGICAL, EXPANSIVE, and BEYOND what our human brains can conceive.
2. Essential Oils:
Apply the following onto area between brows:
Frankincense, Cedarwood, or Lavender
Recite one of the following affirmations:
"I expand my awareness through my Higher Self."
OR
"I am connected.”
OR
“I fully trust my intuition and my intuitive guidance.”
OR
“I am fully tapped into Source energy and guidance from my Higher Self.”
3. Crystal Therapy:
Wear, hold. or meditate with the any of the following crystals:
Chariote, Sugilite, Violet Fluorite, or Labradorite.
Pick whichever you feel guided to. When meditating I like to place the stone right over chakra area on the front of my body and let the crystal go to work. Or carry this with you wherever you go. (pursue, pocket, bra, etc)
4. Color Therapy:
Wear this color (clothes, nail polish, jewelry, etc.) or decorate your space with this color to help balance this chakra. INDIGO is the color of the THIRD EYE Chakra. Even just envisioning the color INDIGO in your mind’s eye will help too.
5. Food Therapy:
Grape juice, Red grapes, chocolate, Blackberries, Beets, Blueberries, Rainbow Chard, Nettle Tea, Ginger Tea, and Lemon Ginger Tea.
6. Physical Movement:
Yoga movements that help move and focus on your breath: Downward Dogs and Child’s Pose. Do these poses while taking nice, slow, deep, and relaxed breaths. (5 breaths each pose while centering your thoughts on the Third Eye area)
While doing your child’s pose as you press your forehead down you are laying it on your Third Eye space. Allow this space to fill up with INDIGO and become “tuned in” as you gentle massage it while resting it on your floor, mat, or pillow.
7. Shower:
YES-water is SUCH a fucking great chakra cleanser. Works on ALL chakras.
YEP, I say it every week…why? Because it works.
Just envision the water being a beautiful golden light that is literally washing away all the energy that is not needed while filling you up with what you need. See the excess and un-serving energy flowing right on down the drain. Envision yourself (especially your Third Eye) being DRENCHED in INDIGO and GOLD light.
Make sure to thank the water spirits too after cleansing your energy. I have heard stories from others who worked with water spirits, didn’t properly give thanks, and then the had a plumbing issue shortly after.
Just be sure to always thank your helping spirits.
8. Meditation:
I don't think I need to go into this in much detail. Meditation is helpful and key to keeping our energy/chakras in balance.
Meditate on the COLOR INDIGO as you do this. Set a timer for 5-minutes and visualize. That is it...simple. Mediation does NOT have to be LONG or drawn out.
The Third Eye likes to meditate and especially in DARK rooms it helps to rest and rejuvenate the Pineal and Pituitary Glands.
9. Natural Light and Sunlight Therapy:
Our Third Eye loves to sun gaze. Sun gazing is an ancient technique that many Native American tribes would use to cleanse, clear, and strengthen their intuition.
I use this technique as often as I am called to it. I make sure to fill up my Third Eye with some yummy sunlight.
10. Free Flow Channel Writing
This is a practice of grabbing your journal and pen while tuning into the space between your brows. Breathe deeply while focusing on your Third Eye. Feel it filling up with light and expanding. As it “comes online” you may feel pulling, buzzing, tingling, or pulsing.
Once you feel it’s “open and ready”, ask your Higher Self a question. It can be about anything. Then free flow write aka automatic write. Let your Higher Self take over your arm and let their energy flow through you as you write.
This practice helps you to tone your Third Eye, feel the sensations, and to trust in what flows through you. This is a great way to tune into the WAY you receive and perceive intuitive information. This is a group course I teach to others. Helping others to innerstand their own intuition, work on opening up theirs, toning practices, and helping to clear energy from the Third Eye that is keeping you disconnected. Your THIRD EYE Chakra is all about YOUR OWN intuition. We all have it. Some just have more practice and exercise in using theirs. Your intuition does not have to be used to solve, heal, or help the problems of another, but is simply an internal compass for YOU to possess.
Opening your Third Eye takes time, and you need to ensure ALL the LOWER chakras are open to support that energy flow. Therefore, it’s so important to foster connection and working in the lower chakras first. This way the information funneling in through the higher chakras has a safe, clear space to land.
Do not stress about opening it. The Universe helps open it when it is YOUR time. No amount of stress or rush will open it bigger or faster....it will only cause you to have some headaches ;)
Go with whatever source of balancing that feels right to you. You DO NOT have to do all of them. Pick one...stick with it...do it...and see how you feel. Not everyone does the same methods.... we pick what resonates with us.
So, do that for yourself.... pick what feels right FOR YOU.
