Welcome to December! Hard to believe we are in the final month of 2025. The year (for me) has truly flown by and it’s really hard to wrap my mind around the fact that we will soon close out 2025 and embark upon 2026.

If you know me and have been around here long enough, you will know that I do not believe in Jan 1st as the “start of the new year”. I follow a more nature, Earth based, and Shamanic approach. I feel that the “new year” begins on Spring Equinox. I have followed energy flow for many years and it is what feels most aligned for me.

I still love the “fresh and new” energy that January ushers in, but for me…..it’s still a time of Winter and still honoring that cycle in nature.

Winter season to me is that of a blank canvas. A deep reset and rest. We've done the weed pulling, we've cleared the debris, and now we go into a really deep inward state to rest. We allow ourselves to rest and recharge. To begin dreaming up the desired visions for ourselves.

Winter season doesn't mean you do nothing. You actually are doing a lot....a lot of really deep journey space and time. This season is such a potent time. So much embodied Wise Woman energy here.

When you enter into Winter season through the Medicine Wheel you flow into deep compassion, inner alchemy and journey time, grounding into who you really are, flowing into deep stillness, finding comfort in solitude as you learn your inner landscape from this blank canvas, and you invite in the energy of White Buffalo Women.

The White Buffalo Women paves the way for you to drop into your hearts path...the sacred way, the sacred path. The path back to who you are through love. She reteaches you that your heart is the compass and that the path that flows in love is the path of true abundance.

Anywho-that is not what today’s newsletter is about. This week I wanted to share a very popular and favorited newsletter I put out every year……Your Personal Vibrational Year Themes!

So, sink it, sit back, relax, and continue reading to find out what energy themes may be relevant for you come 2026 : )

Did you know that each year vibrates at a specific vibration that is totally unique to you? You often hear others chat about the Universal or Collective Year Number ahead (btw….it’s gonna be a collective year of 1 for 2026) and while that’s important to showcase what we will see on the “stage front” in terms on what energy we are moving into knowing your personal year number is extremely helpful for you as an individual.

You and the Collective move through 9 stages of energy themes in 9 year cycles.

So, that means every 9 years you will begin a new cycle (example: 2017 was a year 1, 2018 was a year 2, 2019 was a year 3, 2020 was year 4. 2021 was a year 5, 2022 was a year 6, 2023 was a year 7, 2024 will be a year 8, 2025 is a a year 9, and come 2026 we will move into a Year 1 which will restart a BRAND NEW 9-year cycle).

Ones are all about beginnings and 9’s are all about endings. So when you start a Year ONE you are starting a NEW CYCLE to your 9 year phase and when you start a Year NINE you are closing out a 9 year phase. Does this make sense? I sure hope it does. (ha ha)

So, as you can probably guess I want to give you a little taste of each personal year numbers energetics and vibration so you can feel into what 2026 is opening up and inviting you into.

It’s key to remember that this is SIMPLY a GUIDEPOST, not an “end all, be all” kinda of thing. EVERYTHING is energy, numbers carry energy, and you are energy….so this is why this kind of thing is pretty cool to feel into.

Take what resonates and leave the rest.
This intuitively shared information serves to serve you in whatever ways you need in this moment.

Personal Year ONE:
This is the path of NEW BEGINNINGS and the path of self. It is the anchor point and starting point, your foundation, for the NEXT 9 years of your cycle. This is like the blueprint for what it is your want to build. It’s very centered around self-evaluation and reflection of the previous 9 year cycle. This helps you to fine tune what it is your want MORE OF and what it is you want LESS OF. It’s a time to take stock, inventory, and to get really clear on where you are going.

During a YEAR ONE you may find yourself feeling isolated or lonely ONLY because you are being called inward to meditate more, do your inner work more, and to really get focused on what it is you’re wanting to BUILD within this new 9 year cycle.

When I think of a year one personal number I think of being the architect who is drawing up some blueprints and really starting with the bare bones of what it is you are wanting to create.

Personal Year TWO:
Personal growth and transformation are the theme here. It’s a time of going inward (think of a Crab retreating to their shell), nurturing self and relationships, and to continue to build upon the new beginnings of your year 1.

During this year 2 you will be focused on pouring yourself and love into those relationships, partnerships, collaborations, and projects that feel anchored in love. It will be a time to slow down to really go introspective on the outward expansion of working in harmony with others.

This will also be a year of growth with your own empathy and capacity to FEELING. It’s a time to let it go and let it flow through you. To slow it down so that you can ground in deeper to self and gain deeper emotional intelligence from within.

Peace is the name of the game of year 2.

Personal Year THREE:
“What makes me happy?” It’s a time to really get deep within self and find what things make you happy in your own life. After working through year 2 and looking at your place within relationship to/with others it’s time to put yourself in the spotlight of your choosing.

When I think of year 3 I think of the solar plexus becoming fully illuminated in bright, sunny yellow and finding ones sense of self, power, sovereignty, and place in the world. It feels like one finally taking the seat at their own inner throne.

Year 3 will also be a time to face your fears and look at where you hide, doubt yourself, and where you fall into self-deprecating tendencies. It is a time to immerse yourself in inner happiness, creativity, truth, optimism, and deep love.

This it the year to look into how you want to show up, up level your life, and express yourself.

Personal Year FOUR:
You’ve got your blueprint, you’ve worked through relationships/collabs/partnerships and nurtured those that feel good, you’ve been working on your own inner happiness and truth…AND NOW, it’s time to get serious about the build out of what it IS you want and see for your future.

What are you long-term goals?
Intentions?
Dreams?
What do you need to start doing to build momentum for them?

These are the questions to start journaling on and then following through on the inner guidance you get for creating the momentum.

Year 4 is also a big time to focus on home life, family, and your own health/wellbeing. So, this could also be a year where you are really focused on the wellbeing of self and what lives within the walls of your home. It’s a time to look at what areas need some perking up, detoxing, and optimizing.

During this year 4 it’s a time to put in the time, effort, and hard work to truly achieve and BUILD the LIFE YOU DESIRE.

You can’t rush it….slow, steady, and discipline to showing up is the name of year 4’s game.

Personal Year FIVE:
Changes. Changes. Changes, Oh my!

Year 5 is all about changes and defining what feeling/living free means and FEELS like to you.

It’s a time of opportunities, new decisions, new directions, and changes coming your way. Now that you’ve lived through years 1-4 you have a new found sense of self, purpose, boundaries, and who it is you want to be (if you’ve been doing the work along the way)…..so it’s a time to DISCERN between the newness coming your way and feeling into if it FITS into the blueprint of your life.

It’s also a time to explore, meet new people, try new things, and to get out of your comfort zone. What are things you’ve always wanted to try, but put off? Year 5 is a great time to try…the energy is more supportive than ever.

During this year you can expect to be confronted with things, ways of being, habits, people, and all things in between that are creating a distinct divide in terms of what it means to live “life on purpose” from your Higher Self. Things may be brought to your path to take a good look at and see how they are keeping you “Stuck in the mud”. These things are to be looked at as something needs to change…it’s why God is presenting it to you and on your path.

Embrace all the new and change coming your way…for it serves a much bigger purpose.

Personal Year 6:
The year of reflection upon how you want to be loved, how you want to show love, and how you want to relate to the outside world with your outpouring of love.

In year 6 it’s time to really focus on creating the home you desire, within and outside of you. It’s time to look at WHO you want to pull in deeper to relating to, working with, and how you want to nurture relationships.

It feels like a time of being of service and helping others feel more at home within themselves. Showing others how to do the inner work, create the masterplan blueprints for life, stepping into expression and empowerment, building the life one desires through aligned actions, and how to embrace the new and changes along the way.

Year 6 is a time to depth and swimming in the DEEP waters with all you do. It’s deep, intimate, otherworldly, and expansion. It’s a time to evaluate what stays vs what goes in all areas of life.

During this time you are stepping into deep curation of life’s intimate details and working with the blueprint that God has planned for you.

It’s a deeply detailed time of your life to look at every nook and cranny. The energy is supportive of looking at the fine details of your life and those you want to bring into design.

Simply put year 6 is DEPTH. There is so much beauty in witnessing deep, vast depth.

Personal Year 7:
Who are you, truly?

Year 7 is all about introspection, digging deeper, and excavation of the TRUEST you. Now, that you’ve swam into the depths with year 6 you are more than equipped to swim in the depths of your soul, shadow, and inner realms. It’s a time to look inward, pull to the forefront what was hidden in the inner caves, and to truly access the knowledge while healing what is not serving.

During this year it will feel like a heavy spiritual evaluating year. A year to look at where you are, what you do, the practices you keep, and all that has brought you here to ask: “Is all of this serving where I desire to go?”

You may find yourself more invested in taking courses, hiring a life/soul coach, reading lots of books around what interest you, consuming podcasts, obtaining more knowledge, learning meditation, and doing more focused inner work/healing.

Year 7 is all about inner retreating, recalibration, and redefining your path to align to your Soul’s highest calling and purpose….but first, you gotta clear the clutter that is bogging down your journey.

This is a year of accessing the next level of your Soul’s sacred blueprint and activating the particles of God within you. Claiming more of who you were created to be and walk this Earth with the truths expressed.

Personal Year 8:
Step into your POWER!

Year 8 is all about empowering yourself fully, stepping into that power, growth, financial abundance, inner confidence unleashed, and creating plans.

The energy of 8 is super-charged so whatever you think, say, or do will be amplified so take heed to that as you move into this years energy.

Year 8 is all about KNOWING what is worth your time and energy…and maximizing it to its fullest potential. It is a year to maximize your potential and to be recognized for it as well.

It’s also a great time to start planning for a biz venture (solo or collab) if that’s on your radar too. It’s time to start putting the ideas, dreams, and visions onto paper to let it flow and grow.

Because this energy is intense and gives you a serious push to “get aligned and take action” and because you are so lit up with energy to pour into whatever it is you are doing it’s important to NOT OVERWORK yourself and become too consumed with what it is your are creating.

It’s SUPER easy to get burnt out during year 8 if you aren’t careful. This is where creating structure and plans can really help you to DO and CREATE what it is you are here to do, but without working ALL THE TIME.

Year 8 will have you facing where you feel lack, where you talk down to self, where you create limits, or where you play the victim…..it is here to PULL you out of that and have you face it so you can heal it…for good.

So, notice where you tend to feel “powerless” in your life…..if you’re in a year 8 it’s going to be AMPLIFIED. Don’t fear it, embrace it. It’s showing you what is hidden or running in the background…..heal it so you can leave it behind in the past.

Personal Year 9:
Completion and letting go of the old.

You did it. You are now in your LAST phase of your current 9 year cycle. During this time you are being called to celebrate how far you’ve come while you do a little review of the past 9 years.

It’s a time to review it all. It’s an expansive year full of letting go of what is no longer serving so that you can fully open up to the NEW that is ready to make it’s way into your life path.

Year 9 can be fully charged with emotions as there is so much celebration of what has been accomplished during the current 9 year cycle, but it will also be asking you to surrender and let go of some of the things that could be part of what you’re celebrating. Like what, Nichol? Well, maybe during that 9 year cycle you started and online biz. The biz flourished, was amazing, had tons of clients/interactions, was massively profitable, but yet….you’ve outgrown it. You love what was created, but you feel stunted and feel as though you cannot do more than what’s already there…so you may be asked to step away from that thing in order to free up space, time, and energy for something EVEN BIGGER. Now, that is hard…trust me. Been there, done that.

During this year you may find yourself truly reviewing your sense of spirituality as well. Seeing through illusions, redefining practices, or wanting to let go of what you’ve been doing all together and opening up to a new path within spirituality (whatever that means for you)

Manifestation IS HIGH during a year 9. BUT, it means you must really surrender to letting go of what is no longer a fit, what you’ve outgrown, and what is not aligned in order to bring forth the manifestations in a expansive way.

Year 9 simply put is letting go what has ran it’s course, opening yourself up to NEW, BIGGER things, and experiencing the beautiful transformation coming your way. You earned it!
